Song Hau 2 Thermal Power Plant (SH2), a thermal power plant with a nameplate capacity of 2,120 MW (2 units of 1,060MW) in Hau Giang Province, Southern Vietnam as part of Song Hau Power Complex (SHPC). SH2 is expected to generate 2,003.4 MW at the delivery point into the national grid, established under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) arrangement with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT). Under the BOT arrangement, the Project includes develop, design, construct, finance, own, test, commission operate and maintain the facility for the purpose of producing electrical energy and providing dependable capacity which will be sold to Electricity Vietnam (EVN).
