The 1,200 MW Capacity Vinh Tan 1 Thermal Power Plant belongs to Vinh Tan Power Complex, including 4 thermal power plants, which is approved by the government, located at Vinh Tan Commune, Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan Province.

The project is invested in the form of BOT (Build - Operate – Transfer) with the capital of nearly USD 2 billion.

The plant construction is expected to be commenced in October 2014.
