Supervision Contract Signing Ceremony - Duyen Hai 1 Thermal Power Plant Project was held on 04 March 2011 between Thermal Project Management Board 3 and Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2).

Duyen Hai 1 Thermal Power Plant Project, which is invested by Vietnam Electricity and managed by EPC contractor of China (DEC), is one of three thermal power plants in Duyen Hai Power Complex in Dan Thanh commune, Duyen Hai District, Tra Vinh Province. The power plant is arranged in an area of 641 ha including 2 units with total installed capacity of 1,244 MW (2x622 MW), annual output of about 7.2 bil. kWh. It is expected to complete and put the first unit into operation in September 2014 and second unit in November 2014.

Being one of the leading power consulting companies in Vietnam, PECC2 has been engaging in provision of consulting services to Duyen Hai 1 Thermal Power Plant Project for phases such as construction investment project, technical design and bidding document. With this new contract, PECC2 continues providing consulting supervision service to the project. It is committed by PECC2 to cooperate effectively with concerned parties in an attempt to put the project into operation with high quality as scheduled.
