From March 18 to March 24, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2), Southern General Investigation Enterprise (SGIE) and Electro - Mechanical Enterprise (EME) simultaneously implemented the 14th national week of Labor Hygiene & Safety and Fire & Explosion Prevention under the directions of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and Ho Chi Minh Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Welfare.

Meeting on Labor Hygiene & Safety and Fire & Explosion Prevention at Mechanical Enterprise (EME)

With the theme “Building the custom of preventing working accidents, occupational diseases, fire and explosion is the responsibility and benefit of both enterprise and employees”, the company launched a propaganda campaign for labor hygiene & safety and fire & explosion prevention to raise awareness of employees and employers regarding this issue.

The campaign also aimed improving working conditions, preventing accidents and protecting employees’ health. Fire & explosion protection contributed to obtain the company production target. All information was widely disseminated to units, enterprises, departments, teams, groups, and each individual. The propaganda especially focuses on production units exposed to working accidents, occupational disease as well as fire and explosion.

A meeting aimed at propagandizing the meaning of the national week was held by SGIE and EME with the attendance of all employees in production units. Besides, PECC2 also collaborated with other departments to inspect and monitor the practice of labor hygiene and safety, fire and explosion prevention on under - construction sites such as Vinh Tan Thermal Power Plant, Ninh Thuan 1 & Ninh Thuan 2 Nuclear Power Plant to identify, remind, correct and immediately solve safety violations.

 “Strictly implementing the national week of Labor Hygiene and Safety – Fire and Explosion Prevention in order to raise awareness of both the employer and employees” is the sprit determined to maintain during production process by PECC2.
