The project of VND500 million invested by Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2) is expected to deploy in 45 days. The Solar Energy System is installed on the terrace of 5^th floor of the EVN Tower, covering an area of ​​about 450m² and using Polycrystalline Cell Technology (minimum efficiency of 16%). The panels are connected to the building power grid via an inverter and monitored by the SCADA system.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Phu, PECC2 Chief Operating Officer in charge of Thermal & Renewable Energy revealed that the installation of the system will not affect the activities of the building and its architecture beauty. The project is in EVN’s aim to propagate and promote the use of clean energy.

Once commissioned, this solar power battery system will be a supplement to the power source of EVN Tower. The Project is a vivid affirmation of EVN Policy in further investment and development of solar power.
