On November 19, 2024, H&M Vietnam and the Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2) signed a Memorandum of understanding on the cooperation under the DPPA Mechanism. This event marks an important step toward the international fashion brand's sustainable development goals.

The signing ceremony took place at the PECC2 Innovation Hub. Mrs. Jessica Vilhelmsson, Regional Country Manager of H&M, and Mr. Nguyen Hai Phu, Chief Operating Officer of PECC2, along with representatives from both parties, participated.
As part of the working program and signing ceremony, H&M's delegation visited the BESS system installed at the PECC2 Innovation Hub building, the Operations Control Center (PECC2-OCC), and the Digital Capability Center (PECC2-DCC) to learn about the application of technology in remote power plant operations and the digitization of power plant projects.

This event marks a new beginning for PECC2. It is the first DPPA cooperation agreement signed with a major global fashion brand, helping H&M access clean energy at reasonable costs.
